Precision Orthopedics in Salinas, Calif., has selected Viztek's Opal-Ortho PACS for digital image management.

Viztek said that its dealer, Merry X-Ray in San Francisco, completed the installation for the seven-physician orthopedic practice. 

Opal-Ortho PACS is web-based, offering a tool-set developed for the orthopedic practice, according to the Jacksonville, Fla.-based company. TraumaCAD templating is integrated in the software and comes standard with manufacturers' templates.
