Amicas joins with Epic for Wisconsin clinic RIS/PACS
Monroe Clinic of Monroe, Wis., is the first customer of Amicas to implement a standards-based framework that allows Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems' Radiant RIS to integrate with Amicas PACS.
The Amicas and Epic product development teams are collaborating to create an architecture that integrates RIS and PACS to support a series of functions, such as support for peer-review workflows and auto-launching of activities in shared workflows, according to the Boston-based Amicas.
Monroe Clinic is a not-for-profit health system that includes a multi-specialty clinic and hospital with more than 80 providers, a 24-hour emergency room, home-care and hospice services and 10 clinics in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
