InSight Health buys two Boston imaging centers for $8M
InSight Health Services Holdings, through a subsidiary, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire two imaging centers in the Boston area for approximately $8.1 million in cash from subsidiaries of Medical Resources.
The two centers generate approximately $5.6 million in annual revenues, according to the Lake Forest, Calif.-based InSight Health. One center is exclusively MRI while the other is a multi-modality facility. The acquisition is expected to close in April 2009.
The MRI center is New England Baptist Radiology, an orthopedic, spine imaging and neuroradiology center. The radiologists are based at the New England Baptist Hospital, which has a focus on bone and joint disease.
