Aurora wins Texas install for dedicated breast MRI
The Cooper Clinic’s new breast health facility in McKinney, Texas, has installed the Aurora 1.5Tesla dedicated breast MRI system from Aurora Imaging Technologies.
“With the integration of the Aurora Breast MRI into our comprehensive center, our patients can expect to receive their diagnosis, have a biopsy on the spot, and work with our team to determine the next steps for treatment, often within 24 hours,” said Gail Lebovic, MD, director, Women’s Services, Cooper Clinic.
The Aurora Breast MRI offers a precision gradient coil designed to provide a large homogeneous elliptical field of view to image breasts, the chest wall and axillae in a single bilateral scan, the company said.
