Dedicated breast MRI system technology developer Aurora Imaging Technology has placed the second of its 1.5-Tesla breast MRI systems at Breast Care Specialists of Atlanta.

The facility is the first to deploy two dedicated Aurora breast MRI systems, according to the North Andover, Mass.-based Aurora.

Breast Care Specialists of Atlanta installed its first Aurora system in 2005 and placed the second system this summer in order to better provide care to its 27,000 annual patient base, Aurora said.
