Axolotl appoints Scarbrough as director of IT operations
Axolotl, a health information exchange (HIE) solutions and services company, has appointed Robert Scarbrough as director of IT operations.
Scarbrough will oversee operational activities of the IT department. Previously, he served as vice president of IT at Swope Community Enterprise Services in Kansas City, Mo., where he managed strategic and operational activities of the IT department, as well as provided direction and support for IT solutions.
Before Swope, Scarbrough also worked with HCA Midwest as a network/desktop analyst for the IT department. Prior to that, he was a leader in the U.S. Army for 10 years where he managed the joint-forces between outpatient ambulatory and ambulance service clinics in South Korea.
