Aspyra shuffles execs
Aspyra has announced changes in its management team as part of its business strategy and reorganization efforts, effective April 1.

Bruce Miller, Aspyra's chief technology officer and original founder of Creative Computer Applications (CCA), has departed the company after a 31-year tenure. As part of his agreement, Miller will be available as a consultant to the company on an as needed basis, according to the Calabasas, Calif.-based company. Aspyra was formed following a merger acquisition involving CCA and StorCOMM in November 2005.

Ade Lawal, previously vice president (VP) of strategy and business development will assume the role of chief operating officer (COO). James R. Helms, having previously held the position of COO, has moved into the position of VP of strategic analysis.

Additional changes in top-level management include:
  • Danny Chin--director of operations;
  • Michelle Del Guercio--VP of marketing and product management; and
  • Scott Treiber-- acting VP of research and development.
