Tenn. health system selects McKesson for PACS
IASIS Healthcare, a 16-hospital system in Franklin, Tenn., plans to help improve patient care and physician satisfaction with the deployment of a new PACS from McKesson, Horizon Medical Imaging PACS.
IASIS said it expects to experience "significant workflow advantages" by making the move to Horizon Medical Imaging PACS, such as giving physicians access to medical images as part of the EHR.
From a single workstation, whether in-hospital or at home, physicians will be able to evaluate patients and make more well-informed treatment decisions, further improving patient care, according to McKesson.
IASIS serves approximately 2,700 beds across six regions throughout the United States.
